CH Ensign's Bella Vita “Sophie” came into this world as the only girl out of her beautiful Mom Brooklyn and the handsome Dad Sabre. With complications in her original sale, Sophie came back to live with me and then when a dear friend lost her dog, I gave Sophie to Cathe Nathman to co-own with me. Sophie's first time in the ring she was WB, and never looked back her second show weekend was ABC Regionals in Spokane, Washington. She won a Grand Sweepstakes under Nancy Schepis, the next day she won her first major under Peter Baynes, I thanked him for putting up my plain little girl and he said "what plain girl". There was never anything plain about Sophie, she glided around the ring with confidence and style. The next day at ABC Regionals she went on to win WB & BOW, under the respected judge Jack Ireland. Her third show weekend and she needed one point to finish, we traveled to the tuff Montana circuit, where she won the first day, finishing her Championship, under the honorable Mr. Larry Sinclair, and beautifully handled by Cheryl Cates. Sophie and her new owner Cathe went to the ABC and she competed twice in the BOB, both times she was the only plain dog or bitch to make the final cut.

She had one breeding to CH Rikar's Crime of the Century, SOM "Justice". It was an all male review, two Champions, Peyton and Sloan with two others pointed Archie and Cooper. The joy Sophie brings continues into her Senior years, and we are glad for everyday that she is still with us. Thank you Cathe for loving this special girl and co-owning Sophie with me.
